You can now label calls and signals with your own tags, and BuildBetter applies them for you.
Open Settings, then AI Labeling, then Smart Tags. Tags live in groups, and each group controls who can see and edit its tags.
Click New, then Tag. Pick a group, name the tag, and write labeling instructions, as if you were briefing a careful teammate.
Under Data to evaluate, choose Signals or Calls. Tests use one credit for each record they check, so start with a small sample. Then click Continue.
On Choose examples, add keywords to pre-filter likely matches, and set how many examples to test. Then click Run test.
On Review, check every prediction. Mark each one Should match or Should not match, and add a reason when the model got it wrong.
Improve shows precision and recall. Tighten the instructions and click Re-evaluate to test again, or continue to publish.
Click Publish Smart Tag. It tags new calls as they come in, and uses one credit each time it adds the tag. Turn on Backfill older data to tag past calls too.
Back in the group, your tag shows as Published, with the number of calls it has labeled.
Next up, label people and companies automatically.
