BuildBetter for engineering teams & agents
Give every build the customer context.
Connect customer evidence to your specs, skills, and agent sessions. Help engineers and coding agents understand what to build, why it matters, and what was promised.
Customer evidence
“Looking back, we were lucky to go with BuildBetter. A lot of other tools were extremely rigid. You've genuinely delivered on the tailoring — it's never been easier to work with any company we've bought from, ever.”
One company context. Through every handoff.
Better context before the build. A clearer record after it.
Make customer knowledge part of the development workflow, from the first requirements to the moment the customer gets the fix.
01 / Scope the right problem
The customer’s words belong in the spec.
Go beyond a ticket title. Give engineers and agents the original request, the affected customers, and the constraints that explain what a successful implementation needs to do.
- Pull evidence from calls, tickets, and company knowledge.
- Connect requirements to accounts, commitments, and source quotes.
- Keep the spec, implementation plan, and evidence in the same project.
Complete account exports
Help finance reconcile the whole account without splitting files or losing records.
“We can wait for the export, but we can’t lose any rows.”Meridian · Technical call · 08:17
Acceptance criteria
- Export every record in the selected period.
- Keep the result accessible to the finance team.
- Confirm the fix with the customer who raised it.
02 / Equip your agents
Your team’s way of building. Available to every agent.
Publish the skills your team uses to scope, plan, implement, and review. Keep instructions in a shared catalog and let agents retrieve current customer context through MCP.
- Manage skills with access control and revision history.
- Carry customer evidence from specification through review.
- Use your existing coding tools with MCP, the CLI, or APIs.
Scope the problem with customer evidence.
Instructions
Pull the affected accounts, source quotes, and commitments into the requirements before writing the spec.
“We need the full export before our renewal. Splitting it into smaller files isn’t an option for our finance team.”

See what the agent did. Keep what it learned.
Upload agent sessions and connect them to the customers and projects they belong to. Inspect the conversation, tool calls, and decisions so useful context doesn’t disappear when a session ends.
- Review sessions across providers, people, and projects.
- Link the work to a specific customer or commitment.
- Use the evidence from sessions to refine skills and hand off context.

Go deeper
A practical place to start.
Do we have to change coding tools?
No. BuildBetter exposes context through MCP, the CLI, and APIs. Skills let your team bring its own instructions to compatible agents. The product pages include setup information and links to the documentation.
Can sessions be connected to a specific customer?
Yes. Agent sessions can be associated with customers and projects so the work can be understood alongside the original request. Session visibility and access controls determine who can see that context.
Does sharing a session resume it in another coding tool?
Sharing session context and resuming a provider’s native session are different operations. Context can be handed to another tool; native provider resume is machine-local to ZeroShot. The Agent Sessions page explains the distinction.
How do we close the loop after shipping?
Keep the request and affected customers connected to the project, then use Releases and follow-up workflows to bring the update back to the people waiting for it. BoB can propose the next action for your team to review.
