By default, BuildBetter picks the right summary format for each meeting. You can change it whenever you like.

On a call, open the Summary tab and click the template menu. Pick another format, like Sales.

BuildBetter checks with you first, because a new summary replaces the old one and uses credits. Click Regenerate to confirm.

To make your own, open Settings, then AI Assistant. Under Summary template, Automatic is the default. Click New template.

Free-form lets you describe the summary in plain words. Section builder sets the exact headings, in order.

Give it a name, then add sections like What they asked for, and Next steps. The preview updates as you go.

Click Save template, and it shows up on every call in your workspace. To skip the blank page, customize a preset instead.

Next up, signals, and why they matter more than the summary.
